School leaders in Wales ask where the extra money for education has gone

SCHOOL leaders are today asking where the extra money from Chancellor Rachel Reeves’ Autumn Budget for Welsh education has gone.
National Association of Head Teachers (NAHT) Cymru will tell the union’s annual conference in Harrogate that it fears the funding received by the Welsh government for education is not being spent on schools.
When the Westminster government spends additional money on education in England, extra money for the devolved nations is triggered under the Barnett formula.
