SCOTTISH Labour leader Anas Sarwar has turned his campaign to constituency seats ahead of Thursday’s Holyrood poll.
Latest polling from More In Common suggested the party is on course to lose its remaining seats in Dumbarton and Edinburgh Southern — held by deputy leader Dame Jackie Baillie and economy spokesperson Daniel Johnson, respectively.
The same poll, however, suggested a number of the 73 constituency seats remain in play with almost a fifth of the electorate still undecided.
Mr Sarwar said: “The SNP has had 20 years.
“I’m asking people to give me five years to fix the mess, get the basics right and build a better future for Scotland.
“This election is a straight choice — only Scottish Labour can win in constituencies across Scotland, beat the SNP and deliver the change Scotland needs.”
Edinburgh Central candidate and SNP campaign director Angus Robertson said: “We are asking people to vote for a government to get things done, Labour and Reform are asking people to vote for opposition to stop things happening.
“The SNP want to lower your bills, the other parties are trying to stop us.”
