MEN’S FOOTBALL:

Ayr maintained their one point lead in the Scottish Championship after two goals from Josh Mullin earned them a 2-0 win over Raith Rovers and second-placed Dundee squeezed past Inverness Caley 1-0.

Greenock Morton were held 1-1 by Arbroath, Queens Park thumped bottom club Hamilton 4-0 to move third and Partick Thistle goalie Jamie Sneddon headed an injury time equaliser to grab them a 1-1 draw at Cove Rangers.
