More than 1,000 Ford workers take strike action

MORE than 1,000 office workers at Ford production plants at Dagenham in London and Speke in Liverpool are to escalate strike action over pay and changes to their contracts.

Unite claims Ford plans to introduce 100 per cent performance-related pay from 2025 and change the union’s collective bargaining agreement and the company’s sick-pay policy.

The workers are also in dispute over a 2024 pay increase.
