A SUPERMARKET ready meal maker will face festive season strikes unless it drops “abhorrent” plans to fire and rehire hundreds of workers, Unite said today.
Nearly 600 workers at Wrexham Oscar Mayer have backed escalating industrial action, voting 97 per cent in favour.
They have been striking since September against the company’s plans to fire and rehire them, which would slash pay by up to £3,000 a year.
