IT IS now the time to mobilise and protest, demanding the end of the massacre and bloodshed!
While the imperialist aggression of the USA and Israel is completing one week of heavy bombing against Iran, the consquences are already horrific and the war goes on. More than 1,200 Iranians have lost their lives and thousands are injured, the imperialists have attacked several schools and about six hospitals amongst other many civil facilities in Iran.
The retaliation of the Iranian army to various US military bases in the region are the expected link in the chain of this imperialist aggression and neither a surprise nor the cause for the conflict.
The US president and his war ministers along with the war criminal Israeli prime minister are warmongers and cynical assassins for the sake of the control of the energy resources, roads of transport and geopolitical spheres of influence. The hypocritical claim for Iran having nuclear weapons is just the pretext, especially when it is Israel which possesses nuclear weapons in the Middle East.
US imperialism and its allies have not hidden their plans for the “New Middle East,” which includes change of borders, creation of new protectorates, colour revolutions, violent regime changes etc.
In this current aggression against Iran, we express our deep concern about the plans and actions of the USA and Israel to use ethnic minorities in the western part of Iran in order to trigger, in co-operation with forces from neighbouring countries, further instability and possible future separatist tendencies.
There cannot be any illusion, both historically and today, that any national or religious minority in any country can achieve its rights through the submission to and co-operation with the imperialist forces. We are witnessing one more time the instrumentalisation of vulnerable forces who are being manipulated for the imperialist plans.
The World Peace Council is calling at this critical moment upon all the organised peace movements and peace loving forces in the world to take the streets and raise their voice against this imperialist crime of aggression against Iran. To denounce the dirty and murderous plans of US imperialism, Israel and their allies in the Middle East.
The enemies of peace appear almighty but the organised peoples’ movements can stop them, particularly in the countries of Nato and the European Union which are, openly or silently, endorsing or tolerating this imperialist war.
This ongoing massacre and bloodshed has to end immediately!
