CHRIS SEARLE speaks to Argentinian saxophonist CAMILA NEBBIA
by Francesco Sani
Monsters on every shore
The sea hides no redemption
Clear property boundaries
Make battleships sovereign
And small boats invaders
You only get to see so much
Of the world if you look around
Everyday. These are the doors. These are the walls
My friends. These are the street. These are the walls
My friends. Film an enemy
That is not there. Claim purity
That was never there. Claim a land
That was never yours. Claim a land
That you rent from billionaires. Claim the misery
Of your foodbanks, the yield
Of their bonds. Enter the womb
Of a dark creature
Make it your kingdom, make it your refuge
Sheltered from the oceans
Sheltered from war sheltered from time
Sleep for a long time. Sleep for an endless amount of time
Dream nightmares. There are nightmares to dream
When working for endless hours every week or surviving on the dole
For endless days and endless months
Castaway Jonah
Tells prophecies
Of the darkness you’re choosing
The nation you shoved
Down your own throat
