Iranian security forces fire down on fleeing protesters in new video footage
In this Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022, photo taken by an individual not employed by the Associated Press and obtained by the AP outside Iran, protesters make fire and block the street during a protest over the death of a woman who was detained by the morality police, in downtown Tehran, Iran.

IRANIAN security forces shot down fleeing people with a gun mounted on the back of a pickup truck, video footage revealed today, as anti-government protests continue.

In the clip, verified by the BBC, bangs can be heard as the vehicle chases people in Baneh.

The city in Kurdish province has been under attack by Iranian authorities since protests broke out across the nation last month.
