India to resume £360m arms deal with Israel
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (left) and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi (right) embrace earlier this week in New Delhi

BENJAMIN NETANYAHU has said that a £360 million anti-tank missile deal that India shelved with Israel is back on the table.

After the Israeli leader held talks with Indian PM Narendra Modi, the Indian government said it would resume the deal with arms-maker Rafael. India was said to have pulled out in favour of backing the state-owned Defence Research and Development Organisation to develop the missiles.

Mr Netanyahu said that “there will be many more deals.”
