Corbyn joins calls for justice for Deliveroo rider who fell seriously ill while working
JEREMY CORBYN demanded an end to the exploitation of gig economy workers today at a London rally which had been called after a Deliveroo rider fell seriously ill while working.
The worker, Mohammed, collapsed while delivering food to the exclusive Meranti House in Aldgate, east London, at about 10:30pm on February 23.
The unconscious driver was denied access to the building’s lobby and instead left outside in the cold during a one-hour wait for an ambulance.
