FORMER Tory MP Louise Mensch has come under fire after she was accused of encouraging Ukrainian special forces to carry out a hit on Canadian journalist Eva Bartlett.

Ms Bartlett has been reporting from the eastern Donbass region, where she has been documenting the aftermath of a missile attack on a detention centre in Yelenkova in which more than 50 Ukrainian prisoners of war were killed.

She was asked by another account on social media platform Twitter whether she was on the ground, to which she replied that she was.
