A PROBE into claims of elitism at the British Equestrian Federation looks set to overrun as investigators wade through the mountains of evidence.
The BEF commissioned an independent review following comments made by its former chief executive Clare Salmon in her resignation letter four months ago.
But, according to the Press Association, the three-strong panel has yet to file a draft report despite initial targets to have the whole review done and dusted by today.
The panel has interviewed a number of high-ranking staff within the BEF, with some conversations taking over two hours.
The BEF, which serves as an umbrella organisation for 15 full and four associate bodies involved in British equestrian sport, said terms of reference for the independent review would include, but not be limited to, “issues of alleged elitism, self-interest, bullying and corruption.”
