England will receive trophy in Cardiff if they claim Six Nations title
A general view of the scoreboard during a captain's run at Principality Stadium, Cardiff, March 14, 2025

ENGLAND’S trophy presentation will take place at the Millennium Stadium should they be crowned Six Nations champions at the end of Super Saturday.

Steve Borthwick’s team are competing with France and Ireland to clinch their first title since 2020, with Scotland possessing a mathematical chance of snatching glory from under the noses of their rivals.

The clash with Wales in Cardiff is the second of the day’s three fixtures and if England put themselves in the best possible position by winning with a bonus point and improving their points difference, the pressure will be on France in Paris.

France are favourites to seize Ireland’s crown when they host Scotland and a simple victory should be enough to get them over the line given their healthy point difference, which is 86 higher than England’s.

If, as expected, Fabien Galthie’s men triumph in bonus-point fashion, events elsewhere will become irrelevant and they will receive the Six Nations trophy on the field at the Stade de France.

But if they are unable to fulfil their side of the title-winning equation and England beat them to top spot, all eyes will return to Cardiff.

Should it appear at half-time as though France could be upstaged, England will leave their team hotel and return to the Millennium Stadium.

If they become champions, they will be presented with the trophy on the pitch once the climax to the tournament in Paris is completed, around 10pm.

Given Ireland open the day’s action when they face Italy at the Stadio Olimpico and will be at the post-match function as events in Cardiff and the French capital unfold, their trophy presentation would take place in Dublin on Sunday. However, they would receive their winners medals in Rome.
