England thrash New Zealand to reach Women’s U19 T20 World Cup semi-finals

SPINNER Tilly Corteen-Coleman picked up figures of four for eight as England breezed into the semi-finals of the Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup with victory over New Zealand.

Corteen-Coleman sent down four immaculate overs against New Zealand, who stumbled to 89 all out in Malaysia, taking three in the last six balls of the innings.

The modest target proved a walk in the park, with Jemima Spence hitting a rapid 29 at the top of the order and there were 50 balls unused when Charlotte Stubbs sealed a six-wicket win midway through the 12th over.
