PEACE campaigners are today urging Welsh Labour to support calls for an immediate ceasefire in Ukraine.

Stop the War (STW) Cymru will leaflet delegates to the Welsh Labour conference in Llandudno urging the party to support its call for peace.

STW Cymru convener Dominic Macaskill said: “We hope to put peace back on Labour’s agenda along with the need to pressurise the Westminster government to focus on welfare and not warfare in the interests of the people of Wales and the UK.
