Britain’s Communist Party attacks Starmer
Prime Minister Keir Starmer delivers his keynote speech during the Labour Party Conference at the ACC Liverpool, September 30, 2025

SIR KEIR STARMER has been likened to Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu for his record of “intolerance, repression and complicity in genocide.”

The beleaguered Labour Prime Minister was attacked at the Communist Party of Britain’s political committee on Tuesday evening.

Liz Payne, the party’s peace commission convener, contrasted Sir Keir’s “lofty rhetoric about British values” to his right-wing, anti-migrant, authoritarian and austerity-driven agenda at home.

She told the committee: “His government arrests thousands of peaceful anti-genocide protesters as ‘terrorists’ while he refuses to condemn Israeli state terrorism.

“His real slogan is ‘Warfare Not Welfare,’ as we will see in Chancellor [Rachel] Reeves’s forthcoming Budget.”

Ms Payne, the World Peace Council executive committee representative, compared Sir Keir to US President Mr Trump and Israel’s Prime Minister Mr Netanyahu.

“At home and abroad, they trample on democratic liberties while serving the interests of big-business imperialism, including its military-industrial complex,” she added.

Her comments came as the British government agreed to sell 20 UK-European fighter jets for £8 billion to Nato member Turkey, for possible action in Syria, Iraq and Libya.
