Britain's economy ‘on life support’ as the country's economy stagnates, unions warn

BRITAIN'S economy is on “life support” and a change in government is the only way out, union leaders said today after yet another dismal set of figures showed zero financial growth.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) said GDP, which measures the value of goods and services produced in Britain, flatlined from July to September.

Unite general secretary Sharon Graham said: “Our economy is on life support.
