FORMER home secretary Suella Braverman was tricked into accepting a “Dick of the Year” award after being enticed into launching a small boat in her own constituency.  

A video released by Channel 4 on Saturday shows how pranksters invited the Tory MP to launch a boat for “Fareham Fishing,” a fake angling company, as part of the channel’s Last Leg programme. 

The Fareham MP could not resist the opportunity to christen the vessel, similar in size to those she vehemently opposed in her campaign to prevent asylum-seekers from crossing the Channel with her Illegal Migration Bill earlier this year.

“With her huge engine, sleek exterior but strong firm and steady tiller, she is just perfect … and that’s just Suella,” prankster Joshua Pieters said to giggles from Ms Braverman. 

However as she cut the red ribbon, a sign was unveiled saying “Dick of the Year 2023, Suella Braverman.”

A confused Ms Braverman fled the scene and was heard saying: “That’s going to go viral now.”
