ACTIVISTS gathered in Glasgow on Saturday in a show of solidarity against US intervention in Venezuela — and saw off a pitiful disruption attempt by two neofascists.
Around 60 trade unionists braved the rain to oppose the recognition of opposition figure Juan Guaido as the country’s leader by the US, Britain and European allies.
The rally was addressed by Unite youth committee member Morgan Horn, Labour activist Vince Mills and Ben Lunn of the Glasgow Young Communist League.
