Robinson begs Donald Trump to grant him political asylum
The far-right activist said he needs ‘evacuation from this country because dark forces are at work’
FAR-RIGHT activist “Tommy Robinson” has pleaded for the US to grant him political asylum after being found in contempt of court.
The former English Defence League (EDL) leader, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, launched a public appeal on Monday calling on US President Donald Trump to save him.
Last Friday’s conviction, following a two-day hearing at London’s Old Bailey before high court judges means Mr Yaxley-Lennon could be jailed for up to two years when he returns to court for sentencing tomorrow.
