Contracted railway workers to walk out against ‘appalling’ management conduct

RAIL maintenance staff across Britain are set for strike action against the “appalling” conduct of their management.

RMT members contracted by Clarke Chapman Facilities Management, who carry out vital repairs and renewals on Britain’s railway system, will strike over management’s handling of issues related to pay and conditions.

They say that management has not engaged in serious discussions with the union during the dispute.
