Ashworth to leave Labour Together top job in July
Former MP Jonathan Ashworth appears as a guest presenter on LBC radio's mid-morning programme, at the Global Studios in central London, July 24, 2024

JONATHAN ASHWORTH will reportedly leave his role as chief executive of Labour Together at the end of July.

The former Labour MP took on the job at the think tank days after losing his Leicester South seat in the general election last July.

He told the Spectator magazine’s Coffee House Shots podcast that he would be quitting after just a year in the post.
