Anti-war campaigners set to protest outside US embassy against return of nuclear bombs to British bases
ACTIVISTS from the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) are set to converge on the US embassy in London tonight to protest at the return of US nuclear bombs to Britain.
The demo in Nine Elms — organised by peace activists from across the capital and England’s home counties — is due to take place tonight at 5:30pm.
It comes after the Federation of American Scientists revealed earlier this year that the latest generation of the doomsday weapons, B61-12s, have been cleared for transport to bases across Europe, including Britain.
