Tensions fly as Syrian troops advance by Turkish border

TENSIONS on the Syria-Turkey border soared yesterday as Syrian government troops advanced through the Turkmen mountains.

Government troops reportedly retook nearby Hill 1112, overlooking the strategically important town of Jisr al-Shughur on Saturday.
