ALMOST four decades after it ended, the “national treasure” that is Dad’s Army is still being screened on TV.
Whoever thought it was a great idea to turn it into a feature film, when it is so ingrained in the British psyche and the last attempt to do so in 1971 failed miserably, is taking a big risk.
