THE No2EU coalition of parties and transport union RMT launched its European election campaign yesterday with the slogan “Yes to workers’ rights!”

No2EU is to stand 46 candidates including leading trade unionists, peace activists and community campaigners in seven regions across England, Wales and Scotland for the May 22 election.

Acting RMT general secretary Mick Cash said that it was time for a real debate about the corporate nature of the European Union and how it undermined national democracy.
