NEWCASTLE boss Becky Langley has emphasised the third-tier outfit are not going to Manchester United for Sunday’s FA Cup fourth-round tie to make up the numbers.
The Magpies, who became a full-time professional side this season, are on a considerable roll, currently leading the National League Northern Premier Division after promotion last term and unbeaten for more than a year.
After winning their last two league games 11-3 against Fylde and 7-0 against Halifax, they now head to Leigh Sports Village to take on Marc Skinner’s United, FA Cup and Women’s Super League runners-up last term.
