National Trust staff secure wage victory
NATIONAL TRUST workers voted yesterday to accept a “groundbreaking” 4.5 per cent pay offer.
The workers’ union Prospect said the conservation organisation had also promised further talks on creating a “wellbeing strategy” for staff.
Prospect negotiations officer Matt Sperring said: “The National Trust’s pay offer is recognition of the valuable contribution its staff make, which has led to an uplift in its financial performance over the last 12 months.”
