A NEW voter information website was launched today to give people in Wales better voting information for the May 7 Senedd election.
The Electoral Management Board for Wales, which is part of the Democracy and Boundary Commission Cymru (DBSC), has set up www.vote.wales.
DBSC chief executive Shereen Williams said: “An important election is coming on May 7, and vote.wales is the place to find out all about it.
“We know that people across Wales are looking forward to making their voices heard at this election, but many people don’t feel they have all the information they need before they go and vote.
“If you have questions about this election, then head to vote.wales.”
New features will be added, which will help people find accessibility information for their local polling station.
Political parties and independent candidates will also be able to publish their election leaflets on the website, which will put all the information voters need in one place.
