MEN’S FOOTBALL: Aberdeen are level at 2-2 when they visit Steaua Bucharest for the second leg of their Europa League play-off fixture this evening. The Dons have lost both of their Scottish Premiership matches this season and are yet to score a league goal while the Romanians are also struggling, sit just four places off the bottom of Liga 1 and went down 2-0 at home to Arges Pitesti at the weekend.

MEN’S GOLF: Defending champion Matt Wallace tees off with fellow English players John Parry and Jordan Smith in the European Masters tournament in Crans Montana, Switzerland this afternoon. Last year’s runner up, Alfredo Garcia-Heredia, who Wallace beat after a play-off, is joined by America’s Ryggs Johnston and Colchester-born Dale Whitnell for an early morning start. The total prize money on offer is £2.5 million.

MEN’S CRICKET: Hampshire visit Middlesex in the quarter finals of the One Day Cup at Radlett tomorrow with the winners going on to meet Yorkshire in the last four. Last year’s runners-up Somerset take on 2015’s champions Gloucestershire at Taunton in tomorrow’s other quarter final. The winners will be up against Worcestershire in Sunday’s last four tie after they beat Surrey by six wickets on Tuesday.

MEN’S FOOTBALL: The Europa Conference League’s play-off second legs kick off tomorrow with Crystal Palace holding a 1-0 lead over Norway’s Fredrikstad and Shamrock Rovers defending a stunning 2-1 win over Portugal’s Santa Clara in Dublin. Linfield are 3-1 down against compatriots Shelbourne and Hibs need to overturn a 2-1 loss when they visit Legia Warsaw. Romania’s Cluj have the biggest task after slumping 7-2 in Hacken last week.
