Met pays £400k to victim mum
A WOMAN duped into a relationship with an undercover cop will get more than £400,000 in compensation, it was revealed yesterday.
The woman, known only as Jacqui, believed former special demonstration squad (SDS) officer Bob Lambert was a fellow animal-rights activist. They had a son in 1985 — Lambert disappeared two years later.
The case is one of several being brought against the Metropolitan Police at the High Court in London by women who entered into relationships unwittingly with undercover officers such as Lambert.
