YASMIN HARPER and Grace Reid have both booked their place in the women’s 3m springboard final.
They were two of 12 divers to qualify for tomorrow’s final after Harper finished 12th and Reid seventh.
Harper won bronze in the synchronised event with Scarlett Mew Jensen last week and after gradually finding consistency with some strong dives, she slipped into sixth after posting 51.00 in round four.
She only just squeezed into the top 12 to qualify for the final after finishing with 43.40 in the last round to score 278.90 overall.
Competing in her third Olympics, Reid also did enough and scored 63.00 on her final dive to reach tomorrow’s main event with 290.05 points.
China’s Chen Yiwen qualified in first, while Australian Maddison Keeney and Italy’s Chiara Pellacani finished second and third, respectively.
