Platini keeps Uefa backing, job title and wage while serving his 90-day suspension

UEFA’S crisis meeting yesterday ended with the European football governing body pledging their full support behind dodgy Michel Platini in his running for Fifa president next year.

The current chief of Uefa is serving a 90-day suspension handed to him by Fifa’s ethics committee for a £1.35 million payment given to him by Sepp Blatter.

And despite a Uefa source claiming that the “big beasts” inside the organisation were unhappy with Platini, he has somehow managed to keep their support for the upcoming election.
