STARS of hospital sitcom Green Wing scrubbed up yesterday to support the junior doctors’ strike.

On-screen medics Stephen Mangan, Julian Rhind-Tutt, Pippa Haywood, Tamsin Greig and Oliver Chris joined the picket outside Northwick Hospital in London where the show was filmed.

The cast of the Channel 4 hit, which ran from 2004-7, reunited in a show of solidarity with real NHS heroes sacrificing pay for the fourth time to take action against Jeremy Hunt.
