Bengals lose their head as they throw away victory

CINCINNATI BENGALS linebacker Vontaze Burfict turned from hero to villain on Saturday night as his disgusting hit on Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Antonio Brown sent the Bengals crashing out of the play-offs.

Brown was left sprawled on the turf unconscious and may miss this week’s clash with the Denver Broncos, such was the force to which Burfict’s shoulder collided into Brown’s helmet.

With 22 seconds left on the clock and Pittsburgh 15-16 down, an errant throw from Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger evaded Brown’s outstretched arms and as he came back down, Burfict stormed across shoulder first into Brown’s temple.
