Labour appoints Rape Crisis to support members affected by sexual harassment

LABOUR has appointed charity Rape Crisis to support any members affected by sexual harassment, the party announced today.

The independent specialist organisation offers a range of support, advocacy, counselling and information around sexual harassment and sexual assault.

As well as offering confidential advice and support, it will also undertake an independent audit of the party's internal procedures from the point of view of someone making a complaint to ensure the procedures are suitable and effective.
