East Dunbartonshire could see more strikes against council cuts

A MAJOR Scottish council is set for more strikes if bosses do not cancel a raft of cuts.

The Tory and Liberal Democrat East Dunbartonshire Council plans to slash holiday, redundancy pay and overtime.

Trade unions GMB, Unison and Unite finished four days of strike action across council departments yesterday. All schools closed as a result.
