BRITAIN’S economy faces “failure and stagnation” if the Tories win the general election, shadow chancellor John McDonnell has warned.
Data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) revealed yesterday that the economy saw zero growth in October, following two months of declining gross domestic product (GDP).
This is the first time since the recession in early 2009 that the economy has failed to grow for three months.
