IRANIAN missiles struck US targets including a military base in the capital of the semi-autonomous Kurdistan region of Iraq this morning, with no confirmed casualties.
“Twelve ballistic missiles were launched from outside Iraq to target Erbil,” the Directorate General of Counter Terrorism said in a statement.
It is believed that the new US consulate building was targeted, along with bases belonging to the Israeli spy agency Mossad.
