IRAN vowed revenge for the assassination of a leading member of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) today, condemning Sunday’s killing in Tehran as an act of terror.
“Thugs, rogue elements and remnants of terrorist groups affiliated with the global arrogance and zionism will be punished for their criminal acts,” Brigadier General Ramezan Sharif said.
General Hassan Sayyad Khodaei was killed close to his home in the Iranian capital. Two motorcyclists shot him as he got out of his car before fleeing the scene.
