BAHRAIN: President of Israel Isaac Herzog has been forced to change the itinerary for his Bahrain visit, which began on Sunday, due to demonstrations against his visit, according to reports.
Demonstrators last week reportedly raised Palestinian flags and chanted slogans condemning Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestine.
Some protesters reportedly carried images of Mr Herzog calling him a “criminal,” while others carried signs stating: “You’re not welcome in Bahrain.” Israeli officials claim the protests are being backed by Iran.
