A DRONE attack on Moscow today caused light damage in a residential area but forced people to evacuate their homes in the Russian capital.

The Russian Defence Ministry said that five drones were shot down in the “terrorist attack” and the systems of three others were jammed, causing them to veer off course.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said the attack caused “insignificant damage” to several buildings and that two people received treatment for injuries but did not need hospital treatment.
