Sunak pressed by right-wing Tories for more conservative policies
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak hosts a PM Connect event at the Currys Repair Centre, in Coddington, Newark, Nottinghamshire, October 9, 2023

PRIME MINISTER Rishi Sunak is being told by Tory MPs who are even more right wing than he is that he should dump policies such as environment-friendly rules on building new houses, it was revealed today.

They also want changes to price caps on energy and for parents to be able to sue schools if they do not agree with the school’s sex education curriculum.

Mr Sunak is expected to outline his policies on November 7 in the King’s Speech, which may be the last before the next general election.
