Sajid Javid in New Years Honour list
Former health secretary Sajid Javid leaves Dorland House in London after giving his evidence to the UK Covid-19 Inquiry in its second investigation (Module 2), exploring core UK decision-making and political governance, November 29, 2023

FORMER Cabinet minister Sajid Javid is among those to be included on the New Years Honours list.

Mr Javid abruptly resigned from multiple roles, most famously from Boris Johnson’s Cabinet, kick-starting the end of the prime minister’s premiership.

Honours are awarded by the ruling monarch based on recommendations from current or outgoing prime ministers to celebrate the contributions they have made to their community.
