Millions of new-build homes to be fitted with solar panels, Labour plans
MILLIONS of homes will be fitted with solar panels under Labour’s plans for a “rooftop revolution.”
Energy secretary Ed Miliband is looking at bringing in solar-related standards for new-build properties from next year, according to an Observer report.
Restrictions on where and how high up buildings panels can be placed, as well as those in conservation areas and on listed buildings, may also be re-examined.
