Trade unionist Rob Miguel nominated for health and safety award

A TRADE unionist who played a key health and safety role during the Covid-19 pandemic has been nominated for an award.

Unite national health and safety adviser Rob Miguel has been nominated as “most influential person” in the annual Safety and Health Practitioner award scheme.

Mr Miguel’s role at Unite includes working with the government’s Health and Safety Executive, advising its building safety regulator and representing NHS staff on health, safety and wellbeing matters.
