HARD-right Reform UK has been forced to sack its Scottish organiser after his loyalist paramilitary links were revealed.
Craig Campbell’s tenure was brought to an end after an investigation by the Daily Record newspaper found both his father William — reportedly then Glasgow commander of the Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF) — and uncle were jailed for Glasgow pub bombings targeting Catholics in the 1970s.
His cousin, Jason, was also imprisoned for life in 1995 for cutting the throat of 16-year-old Celtic fan Mark Scott in a brutal murder.
Scottish Labour equalities spokesperson Paul O’Kane said: “Scots will be deeply concerned that a man with family links to sectarian violence and murderous paramilitary gangs is at the heart of Reform UK’s electoral machine in Scotland.
“Not only that, but Mr Campbell appears to also use loaded sectarian slogans.”
A spokesman for Reform UK Scotland said: “Craig Campbell is no longer a Reform UK Scotland organiser or member.
“Reform UK Scotland will not tolerate discrimination of anyone in any form.”
