Flowers and candles are placed at a makeshift memorial near the scene of a shooting at an adult education center on the outskirts of Orebro, Sweden, February 6, 2025

SWEDISH police said that the gunman in the country’s worst mass shooting was connected to the adult education centre where he opened fire on Tuesday, killing 10 other people.

Authorities said today that the shooter, named in some reports as Rickard Andersson, may have attended the centre in Orebo, a city 98 miles west of the capital Stockholm.

Police say they have identified the shooter but would “not publish his name yet, due to the investigation.”
