Work with the NEU
Cheap gig with class acts is a Manchester model worth following

Sunset Nebula + Desert Mountain Tribe + Throw
Down Bones
Gullivers, Manchester
4/5

IN MANY ways this gig was like going back in time. A ticket price below £10 and a venue with a proper bar rather than a temporary plastic one had punters happy from the outset. Other venues please note.

Instrumental trio Sunset Nebula open proceedings with an interestingly effects-driven set. Bands without vocals can often descend into the mundane but the Nottingham threesome maintain a freshness with each tune and keep the small audience captive throughout.
