PM unveils strategy to take on extremism

DAVID CAMERON will unveil a new “counter-extremism strategy” today to prevent young people being radicalised.

It will expand powers to take passports from under-18s who might join extremist groups abroad and ban radical preachers from posting material online.

And anyone with a conviction or civil order for terrorist activity will be barred from working with children and vulnerable people.
